ADVENTURES IN ARKANSAS

Ok so Friday we had to go to Bentonville for the day, and I got to do an exchange all day with my trainer (Sister King)!! Knocking doors in Bentonville VS Springfield is sooo different. People in Springfield are a lot more humble, but way less normal haha. We knocked on this one house in B-Ville and this is how the convo went: HER: "did you not see the no soliciting sign?"  ME: "we aren't selling anything"  HER: "you're selling God!" ME: ".... for FREE!!!" HER: "raging atheist here"  *slams the door* Because we went to Bentonville on Friday, I finesse'd getting to stay overnight in Branson and go to John's baptism in the morning!! It was so special!! I just know I met John in the premortal life and promised him I'd find him and share the gospel with him, so it was cool being able to watch him be baptized. He came out of the water and just said "wow". You could tell how truly happy he was :)  It has been COL...

Ok ok what just happened?! I knew I was leaving Branson, but did NOT expect this. I got shot up to Springfield Missouri to be an STL (Sister Training Leader, which means I'm over a bunch of missionaries)! AND I'm in a trio! AND we are now over two wards/areas!  I haven't had time to breath, I have been SO busy. I'm not gonna lie, I didn't want to be a mission leader... I just wanted to be a regular missionary and grind in my areas, but God said nahhhh. So we will see how this goes! Being in a trio is actually way fun, brings me back to my MTC roots. Teaching with 3 of us isn't as hard as I thought it would be, but going up to a door IS. People are so intimated by us haha. One of the new members in the ward wouldn't talk to the missionaries or come to church, but she follows me on TikTok so we reversed that real quick ;) We are teaching this girl named Eran who is awesome. Apparently she used to be a satanist, but Jesus revolution ammi right?! She doesn't...
