ADVENTURES IN ARKANSAS

HI!!! Eric got baptized on Saturday!!! Wahooo!!! Taco Bell is the promised land and the gospel is true! Such a special day watching the whole ward show up as well as some of his coworkers from Taco Bell! He said the decision to be baptized was the best one he has ever made :)  John was supposed to get baptized on Saturday, he passed his baptismal interview and everything... he was so ready. Then we get a call from him yesterday... drunk. He was not in a good place, so we gave him the rest of the day and called him back when he sobered up. He said how heartbroken he is that he messed up so bad. We have to push his baptism back now which is extremely sad, especially knowing how much the 23rd meant to him. And me? I'm shattered. Transfers are next week and I'm most likely leaving Branson, which means I wont get to go to his baptism. Life goes on, and I know he will be baptized soon so it will be A-Okay! But super bummer of a night yesterday that's for sure.  I read this quote ...

Hi everyone!! I had the best thanksgiving and was able to spend it with the famous family performers in town, The Hughes! They have 86 grandkids and I felt like I was in a Christmas movie, it was absolutely awesome!!! We played games and they told stories. I loved it!! I felt honored to be in the presence of Branson Celebrities haha. We also went to Silver Dollar City last P-Day!! It's like the Disneyland of the MidWest!  WAHOOOO ! Here is an update on my favorite guy John (the one who works at Taco Bell)! He is on date to be baptized on December 23rd. What is crazy about that date is that 7 years ago he lost EVERYTHING on that day in a fire and his wife left him with their kid. He is so ready and excited to turn that day into a good one! At church he asked all the men how they feel the spirit and everyone's hands shot up to answer. It turned into a really good discussion on the Holy Ghost and he felt the spirit so strongly.
