SHEEP STEALERS

Howdy howdy! I have now been in Branson for 2 weeks and let me tell ya... something random and unexpected happens everyday here. From getting a stern talking to from flat-earthers to hearing stories of someone who has been struck by lightning 4 times, nothing surprises me anymore haha!

Last Thursday we went to Bentonville for training. We learned how to let the label of doubt yield the label of faith and how through faith miracles are manifested. It was amazing! It has been so cool to see the Lord's hand in the details of everything I do out here. It is crazy to see how the Lord puts you in the right place in the right time. We also got to see the temple, and I am SO EXCITED for it to open in a couple weeks.

Me and my comp were doing some finding when we had a prompting to visit that ELECT friend I told you guys about last week. We walked up to his place and caught him walking out with boxes. He told us he was at the lowest point of his life; he just got fired and his mom had a stroke. Larry told us he read the book of mormon and was so excited to meet with us again, but then his life came crashing down. I offered a prayer and the spirit did all the talking, Larry started crying. I was overwhelmed by the spirit and when we left he texted us saying, "wow did you see what just happened? God sent me two angels when I was at an all time low, and prayed and give me strength!". So although Larry is moving away, I will never forget that moment we had with him :)

Apparently some churches in Missouri have nicknamed our church the "sheep stealers". Should I be flattered? Or should I be amazed by their waterslide baptisms?... I don't know, but hey at least we all love Jesus right? ;)

Nothing too crazy to update you guys on. I am doing well and getting more used the swing of things day-by-day. Those that know me, know I can basically fall into hibernation when I go to bed at night... so as you can imagine, waking up at 6:30 everyday is a struggle haha! Days are very long here, but so so good. I miss you all and I love hearing from you!

WISEWORDS: my friend tripped and dropped the basket of laundry she has just ironed... I watched it all UNFOLD!
