CUPID STOP HERE!

Hi everyone! The work here in Springfield is SO good right now, I've met the coolest people and had some miraculous experiences! Let me share one:

A couple weeks ago we were trying to get a hold of our friends at this apartment complex... NONE were home. We walked up the road a little bit and man, I was in heaven. There were rows of townhomes on the right and 2 apartment complexes on the left, absolutely untouched and un-knocked (at least in the last 5 months lol). I prayed mightily and with confidence that there was someone ELECT waiting to hear our message of hope and peace, BUT WHERE!?

We felt prompted to go to the apartment complex on the left but when we got to the door we realized we needed a key fob to get in. We walked around the entire building, until BAM! The last door we checked was propped open by a rug.

As we walked in, we knew this was the fancy type of apartment complex that missionaries would get kicked out of immediately. We walked down the hallways a little bit. There was this one door... it said "cupid stop here!". Mmmm, we aren't cupid but we figured we are close enough right?

We knock! Sheila answers! She lets us right in! We teach her for over an hour. We have now been teaching her 2 times a week, it was such divine intervention. I feel so lucky that God trusted me to teach her the gospel :)

Lately I have been fascinated by being swallowed up in God's will for us. As our friend Willie always says, "I surrender!". I want to surrender my will to God. I want what He wants for me, because I know His plan is absolutely perfect. But I have realized surrendering your will to God is HARD! It takes a lot of faith and trust. I heard this quote I love and I will link the talk too, GO READ IT!

"Heavenly Father knows exactly how to guide us to our destination. God is omnipotent (meaning He is all powerful), omniscient (meaning He is all knowing), and omnipresent (meaning He is always present); He knows what He's doing".

Anyway, I just want you all to know that God loves you so unconditionally! And He has a plan for you, just trust Him :)
